Rashida Greene

My name is Rashida Greene.  I was born and raised in Indianapolis, and graduated from North Central High School (class of 2002).  I went on to IUPUI where I obtained BAs in Psychology and Creative Writing. I started writing creatively while I was in the second grade thanks to program called "Young Authors."  From there, my love of writing grew. Some of my favorite poets include Tasha Jones, Sonia Sanchez, Terrance Hayes, Sylvia Plath, Amiri Baraka, and Etheridge Knight, just to name a few.
