My name is Rashida Greene. I was born and raised in Indianapolis, and graduated from North Central High School (class of 2002). I went on to IUPUI where I obtained a BA in Psychology and minored in Creative Writing. I have two children and a plethora of guinea pigs (some of which I am definitely willing to part ways with to go to a loving home). I started writing creatively while I was in the second grade thanks to program called "Young Authors." From there, my love of writing grew. Some of my favorite poets include Tasha Jones, Sonia Sanchez, Terrance Hayes, Sylvia Plath, Amiri Baraka, and Ethridge Knight, just to name a few.
Hello! My name is Ashley Mack-Jackson, and I'm a native Hoosier. I received a B.A. in English Creative Writing from IUPUI, and I received a M.A. in English Creative Writing from Ball State University. My main joys in life are teaching, reading, and writing. I teach English Composition to college students, and my poetry has appeared in literary journals like Reverie, Drumvoices Revue, and Callaloo.
